The purpose of this project was to create cards that had a little more meaning and thought to the imagery and layout than general cards. The inside is left blank so a custom message can be written, making each card even more special. I used a lot of bright colours to add more energy and emotion to the cards. For the Christmas/New Year card I focused on a hand-crafted wooden ornament to give the feeling of family, celebration and tradition. The one Thank You card uses explosive colours, butterflies and swirls to capture the emotion of gratitude. The flowers in the ray of sunshine on the other Thank You card metaphorically shows how the received gift/act of kindness brightened the person's day.
