Toronto.com Print Ad Contest Entry
Metroland Media's website insidetoronto.com was merging with toronto.com, in order to create a coherent experience for website visitors looking to see what was happening in Toronto. To advertise the move, the design team had a contest for print ad submissions. Based on provided research for our target audiences, I created the above ad as a submission.
The images behind the two figures, symbolized different topics available for view on toronto.com that our customers were interested in. The slogan at the top of the ad, addressed the fact that most of our customers are busy and working class. As this is the case, our customers not only want access to news that is relevant to them, but that is also easy for them to access. It also played on the fact of our own move.
